Music in Bass Hall | Virginia Eskin | Brahms, Chopin, Beach, and Ragtime This program will include music of Brahms, Chopin and Amy Beach, a New Hampshire native. Eskin will play some of Beach’s unpublished compositions and discuss her latest project, a book about Amy Beach entitled “Girl Genius”. Working with writer Jane Eklund , and illustrator Nina von Eckardt, Eskin has created a combination book with CD that illuminates the early prodigy years of America’s outstanding woman composer.
